Pre Law Education and Diversity

Statement of formation and solidarity

Introducing “PLEAD: Pre-Law Education And Diversity” – NC State and Rag Tag Social’s newly formed pre-law education and diversity organization committed to transforming the landscape of legal education and representation. In PLEAD, we understand that the legal profession has historically lacked diversity, often excluding voices from marginalized backgrounds. Our mission is to bridge this gap, ensuring equitable access and representation within the legal field. PLEAD not only provides resources, wisdom, and support for our members, but we aim to foster community and wholeness throughout the entire pre-legal career process.

10/8/23 Empowering Diversity: Igniting Change in the Legal World

  • In the realm of law, the undeniable truth is that many minorities, spanning gender, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, remain shockingly underrepresented. But let this injustice not extinguish our fire; let it fuel our determination. Our legal system’s very essence depends on equal and diverse voices advocating for justice. Embrace the challenge, for by diversifying the legal profession, we create a more equitable world where every individual, regardless of their background, can find their place. In the future of justice that we are currently painting, we must not relent, every passionate voice adds strength to the chorus of change.
